Ramadan 2026

Dear brothers and sisters, Ramadan is starting 18th of February 2026.

- Isha and Tarawweh will be prayed each night 2 hours after Maghrib/Iftar and will last approximately 1 hour. God willing, for day 1 of Ramadan, this will be at 8pm. 

- Additionally, God willing, we will gather for community Iftar (community meal done after Maghrib (sunset) prayer) on the weekends. Our default date is every Saturday evening based on last year and adding the last Sunday of Ramadan. God willing, if this changes, updates will be posted here.

 -There will also be a community Iftar hosted by the UCM Muslim Student Association on either Thursday February 26th or Friday 27th.

So planned Iftar dates will be as follows: 

- Sat February 21st

-Thur/Fri February 26/27th UCM

-Sat February 28th

-Sat March 7th

-Sat March 14th

-Sun March 15th

- God willing, before each Iftar Dr. Kamel will lead a 30-minute Tahfeezth session to memorize short surah from the Quran. This is open to the community 1 hour before each Iftar that is scheduled above except the one being hosted at UCM.

- Lastly, God willing, a reminder that March 8th will be day light savings, God willing, so adjust times as necessary and

Eid will most likely fall upon March 19th or 20th, God willing.
